BANK OF AMERICA GETS SPANKED
FOR DISCRIMINATING AGAINST LATINOS !!!!!

     

Imagine that you work all your life and you pay all your bills on time so that when you are ready , you have the right Credit score to get the best loan possible
to buy your home . NOW imagine that you have done ALL this work and after doing all the right things , you are told that you CANNOT live in the neighborhood you want to live in and on top of that , you DO NOT qualify for loans that you already KNOW you qualify for . Welcome to the world of Black and Latino families that work hard for what they want never asking for a handout and still , They get screwed !!! This is the way , the now famous Countrywide Loans company , did their DIRTY business , Steering qualified families to terrible sub prime loans that they did not even need . Countrywide was found to have jerked over 200,000
hardworking Blacks and Latinos by imposing higher fees and interest rates than Whites with the same Credit profile . The ONLY reason that this was done evidently , was because the people were either Black or Latino and these findings came from the Department of Justice , a federal Agency . A Bank of America spokesman , backpedaling faster than Michael Jackson could moonwalk , said that Bank of America does NOT practice lending based on race .

The Government complaint alleges that Countrywide was aware the fees and interest rates it was charging discriminated against African-American and Hispanic borrowers, but failed to stop it.  The Department of Justice went on to say that , “Countrywide’s actions contributed to the housing crisis, hurt entire              communities, and denied families access to the American dream,” this , all according to Thomas E. Perez, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division . 
     TheBochinche is a HUGE fan of Thomas E.
