Calle 13 gets the GREENLIGHT to play in Havana and really brought it BORIQUA style! Talks SEX, RELIGION, POLITICS
and a whole lot of other THINGS that went over our HEADS 'cause dude didn't have on NO SHIRT!!
We, at TheBochinche.Com are always trying to keep you informed of all the latest news affecting Latinos (and their admirers), particularly
when the topic involves anything CONTROVERSIAL, (Roselyn Sanchez helloooo). So when we heard that CALLE 13 was set to play in CUBA, we packed our bags and rushed off to apply for our VISA ('cause we know folks). Unfortunately due to concerns that TheBochinche.Com might cause an international sensation, we opted not to go (ah well, the price of fame).
Our sources in HAVANA were on the scene to report that hip hop/reggaeton sensation CALLE 13 rocked it!! Playing at the famous
ANTI-IMPERIALIST PLAZA, the band wore uniforms from Cuba's baseball team (a teensy controversial?) and sang songs about
everything from U.S. policy to a song called "Dear FBI" about PUERTO RICAN NATIONALIST Filiberto Rios!! Now, we never take
sides in these types of SITUATIONS (and this is a SITUATION) but you gotta admire these guys FOR DOING THEIR THING in support of our Cuban brothers!! CALLE 13 is set to play MIAMI later in march, where they will likely get a WARM RECEPTION! (Hi GLORIA!!!)
