A BRIEF HISTORY
LESSON ON THE CARIBBEAN !!!!

It is a fact that
at one point in time
that our ancestors left the
Caribbean Coast of Venezuela
and made their way up the island chain
through the Caribbean Sea all the way up to
Maine , New Hampshire and Vermont . As a result
of all that movement , some of us stopped in the various
islands such as Cuba , The Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico
and made lives and families there . This was HUNDREDS if not a
thousand years BEFORE Columbus came through to claim that he
discovered us .
This brings TheBochinche to another historical point that is a complete
fabrication . When the White Europeans who had emigrated to America from
England decided that they needed Slaves , they came to Cuba , Puerto Rico and
the Dominican Republic to get the native Indians who inhabited the island . What they
did not expect was that they would ALL be killed by those Indians , who , would either die
in the harsh winter OR get together to kill the entire family from Old people to the babies
for forcibly bringing them to this strange place . This lasted about 2 to 3 years before the
Plantation Owners realized that they might need a Different resource from which to get Slaves
and THAT is why they started taking trips to Africa .

WE ARE NOT BLACK and the reason this MUST be said is
beacuse toooooo many people repeat things that they hear . We are
Carib , Arawak and Taino Indians and if you are from the Caribbean , it all
starts here for you . Once it was established that we would be NO ONE's slaves ,
the new Americans decided it would be in their best interests to obtain slaves from
Africa . Once that route opened up it wasn't long before These " Americans " started
leaving African slaves on the different islands as a way of claiming pieces of land to be
worked OR as money traded for different goods such as sugar cane AND THIS is how
we came to have our African brothers and sisters forcibly emigrated to the Caribbean...........
AND still we showed love to the new inhabitants of the Caribbean by including
them and even intermarrying so that today you have BEAUTIFUL and
DIFFERENT flavors of Latinos .........
So to conclude , WE are All Indian AND some of us are mixed with Black
and that is a WONDERFUL thing to be sure , but please folks , Know your History
because if you don't someone else WILL tell it !!!!!!!!
