NICARAGUAN CONSUL GENERAL
CESAR MERCADO FOUND MURDERED !!!!

Nicaraguan Consul General Cesar Mercado was found murdered yesterday in
his apartment in the Bronx . Cesar Mercado came to the United States in 2001 in the
capacity of asisstant to Nicaragua's Ambassador to the United Nations and from there
worked his way up to acting Consul General . The driver for Mr. Mercado came to pick him
up yesterday morning for the days' events at The United Nations and upon getting to his front door ,
noticed that it was opened slightly . The Driver pushes the door fully open and sees Mr. Mercado's
body laying on the floor with a knife next to him so he immediately calls police to the scene . NYPD
gets to the scene and determines he was murdered . Consul General Mercado , was single , with his family back in Nicaragua ..........
