DRILLS FINALLY REACH
CHILEAN MINERS !!!!!
(PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED)
With shouts of joy , a drill that had been working for weeks , finally punched
through the rock and earth to reach miners that are trapped more than 2,000 feet
down . The main concern for now is whether to begin pulling up those that fit in the tunnel
or to line the hole with steel piping to reinforce the dug out walls . People at the top were ecstatic
to learn that the end is almost near and were shouting , dancing and popping celebratory bottles of
Champagne . After 33 days of continuous drilling , the temporary Community known as Camp Hope ,
had reason to celebrate but as Mining Minister Laurence Golborne said ,"We still haven't rescued anybody,"
"This rescue won't be over until the last person below leaves this mine."
