CHILEAN 33
MARK 50 DAYS UNDERGROUND
The Chilean 33 have now passed 50 days underground in what
must certainly be a world record somewhere and in the process unified
their country and even had time to think ."Thank God that I've finally been able to take stock
of things here, at the age of 39," one of the miners, Mario Sepulveda, wrote in one of his letters to his wife.
"I think I'll benefit a lot from this rebirth." The drama , however is far from over , The government claims that the
men WILL be confined for at LEAST several more weeks and part of one drill came loose crashing down in the general
area where the men are waiting but noone was hurt .
