Chilean Miners Alive (HOORAY!!!)
But Rescue Could Take 4 Months(AWWW!!!)

                                                                            Officials were ecstatic to find a note From Trapped miners after 17 days of not knowing if they had survived an explosion in the Copper and Gold mines of Copiapo , Chile .The Leader and oldest of the Miners , Mario Gomez , sent up a note in red ink in Spanish that said , " We are fine , the 33 of us " which when received at the top of the exploration hole , led to raucous cheering and more than a few tears . While the miners are trapped in a hole that is the size of a one bedroom Apartment it is deeper than the Empire State Building is tall and the average temperature is about 90 degrees .The good news is that the miners have all the fresh air they can breathe and will be sent all the food and water they need . What will be needed is lots of patience and faith while the guys at the top dig the rescue tunnel down to them .
