You know something, Gloria Estefan has been on an UNDERCOVER roll these days....First, her hubby, Mr.
Estefan was appointed to President Barack Obama's Committee for the Development of an American Latino Museum (please check The
Bochinche.Com ARCHIVES), THEN she, along with Marc Anthony (y'know, Mr. Jennifer Lopez) celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month
at the WHITE HOUSE...then (yes, there's more) GLORIA scored a SITDOWN interview with the President for UNIVISION and NOW
she is planning to host a, are you ready? 30,400 dollars (not pesos) A PLATE fundraiser at her Miami Beach House!. We're guessing
that since Obama has had STRONG words for the CASTRO Government lately, Gloria has found a new BFF.
First of all, anybody who lives in Miami, knows Gloria Estefan's house is HARDLY a "beach house"...more like a BEACH FREAKIN' MANSION! and what kind of rice and beans (and platanos) are you gonna eat for 30,000 dollars!! The Date for this little SHINDIG is set for April 15th. (At this point, TheBochinche.Com has NOT been invited although we fully expect an invitation.)
Gloria has become quite the POLITICO these days and we all know they have STRONG views about Cuba so we applaud her efforts to get
involved. We only ask that she NOT sing the CONGA song at the White House...ever.....ever
