FACUNDO CABRAL!!!!!!





El mundo Latino lost a legend an inspiration and the voice of Protest .
Imagine Bob Dylan being murdered in such a terrible way and you now understand what
Latinos the world over are going through . Don Facundo Cabral was born in 1937 to a very poor family after his father left and at age 9 left the family home walking almost the length of Argentina trying to find work for his mom .

While still a teenager , Facundo picked up a guitar , taking after his idol , Atahualpa Yupanqui and a protest singing star was born . By the early 1970's Don Facundo was clearly marked as  a protest singer for the people y combinao con problemas en Argentina , it was time for him to move on . The Next few years found him living in Mejico as his career blossomed .

This past week found him in Guatemala giving a weeks' worth of concerts in a country that
clearly loved him but when he was leaving , he accepted a ride from the Concert Promoter AND that is what got him killed . The promoter , Henry Farinas evidently had some serious people looking for him and when they caught up to him , Don Facundo got caught up in a situation that had nothing to do with him ...............
