FELIPE LUCIANO TALKS TO THE BOCHINCHE !!!!!!
TheBochinche has been on a roll lately what with
all the important people recognizing us for what we do
and one of those people , Felipe Luciano , granted us an
exclusive interview . If you don't know who this is , let TheBochinche
give you some game , Lames , anyway this Puerto Rican Legend is a world
renowned Poet , Writer , Emmy Award Anchor and Television Reporter , Gangster ,
Political Activist AND Father . If you ever ate free breakfast in the Public Schools anywhere ,
you can thank him , if you ever needed an ambulance in the Hood and they showed up , give props ,
AND if Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx EVER saved your life or the life of someone you know ,
Dile Gracias . Felipe's crew , known as The Young Lords , were some bad muthaflowers that were not afraid to handle business against cops , FBI or whomever wanted beef all in the name of achieving equality for Latinos . When the City of New York was sending Mobile Medical units to other neighborhoods for free checkups in the summer and NOT sending them to Spanish Harlem , The Young Lords Jacked an Ambulance with Doctors and forced them to come to the block and give free checkups to everyone who wanted it .............. That is a straight "G" move !!!!!!!!
