CUBAN DISSIDENT TO
RECEIVE SAKHAROV PRIZE !!!!!
This man is Guillermo Farinas and his deal is that he had the huevos to stand
up to Fidel and pronounce that he would begin and maintain a hunger strike until such
time came that Political Prisoners in Cuba were releasesd . This is a HUGE deal because
as we all know , if you speak out against Castro , you WILL pay the price of Jail or worse .
When making the announcement , the European Parliament said that Guillermo was ,"Nominated in
the name of all those who fight in Cuba for freedom and human rights, the 48-year-old doctor of psychology, independent journalist and political dissident has conducted 23 hunger strikes over the years to protest against the Cuban regime," . The only question now is whether or not Guillermo will be allowed to travel to Strasbourg , France to receive the award .
