HAPPY THREE KINGS DAY
FEAST OF THE EPIPHANY !!!!!

    A lot of people think when they hear the song " The Twelve days of Christmas " that those days begin after Thanksgiving ............. You would be COMPLETELY wrong . The twelve days of Christmas begin on Christmas Day and end on January 6th ( do the math ) , commonly known as Three Kings Day , OR , The Feast of the Epiphany if you are at all concerned with what this is really all about . The feast of the Epiphany or Jesus Christ's manifestation to the world , is celebrated on January 6th and many children around the World , in Spanish Cultures , celebrate in similar styles , for instance , Spanish children in America usually celebrate by taking down the tree and raiding it for any candy that might still be attached . En Mexico , this year , the bakers of Mexico City got together and baked a TEN TON cake and gave out pieces of it for free to anyone who came to Zocalo Square . In New York , every year , there is a big parade that has many children in it and they go along the parade route giving candies to the children watching from the sidewalk . Whatever you do in your Town , City or Country , remember to give thanks for your loved one , your family AND for being alive to see another year go by .
