Carlito's Way is without a doubt one of the most culturally relevant movies of all time (if your man hasn't seen it, then it's time for a new man, seriously) and it was written by New York Puerto Rican Judge Edwin Torres. Raised in Spanish Harlem, Torres would go on to have a distinguished legal career in addition to being an author. We spoke with Judge Torres about Franc Reyes, his latest screenplay and whether he plans to take on Judge Judy in the TV courtroom!
