Judge Edwin Torres, who wrote the classic film Carlito's Way,
walked the red carpet at the premiere of The Ministers
and spoke with The Bochinche.com about Franc Reyes, his latest screenplay and whether he may
 soon be coming to a TV Court near you!!!

Now before our man John Leguizamo was playing psycho twin brothers in The Ministers, he was Benny Blanco, a ruthless gangster who tried to make his mark in the drug trade opposite a little known actor, named, uh, Al Pachino. Carlito's Way is without a doubt one of the most culturally relevant movies of all time (if your  man hasn't seen it, then it's time for a new man, seriously) and it was written by New York Puerto Rican Judge Edwin Torres.  Raised in Spanish Harlem, Torres would go on to have a distinguished legal career in addition to being an author.  We spoke with Judge Torres about Franc Reyes, his latest screenplay and whether he plans to take on Judge Judy in the TV courtroom!
