Help Raise Money For " La Casa Azul "
Bookstore in Spanish Harlem!!!!

Aurora Anaya Cerda has a dream to raise $40,000 dollars to open an independent Latino bookstore in Spanish Harlem. Her plan for the bookstore is to sell new and used books along with art, clothing and locally-made cards and gifts. Aurora's mission is to keep the tradition of Spanish bookstores operating in the community .Unfortunately in 2007 two important bookstores for our community were closed, first Liberia Lectorum and a month later Libreria Macondo. Aurora's bi-cultural of course and the first in her family to graduate from college. Aurora understands the value of being bilingual and her focus is to promote the preservation of Latino language and culture. If you want to help a Latina woman raise funds to open this awesome bookstore , please go to La Casa Azul Bookstore campaign and donate.
TheBochinche supports any efforts to keep our culture alive and you should do the same.
