CARNIVAL CRUISES INTO
THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC !!!!!

With the announcement yesterday and the stroke of a pen , the town of Maimon , in the Dominican Republic ,will be the new destination for about 4,000 cruise passengers a week from Carnival Cruise lines .Carnival has announced that they will be investing about 65 million dollars in the town of Maimon to build , equip and maintain a modern Cruise terminal that can hold up to 2 boats at any time totaling about 4,000 passengers .
This is great the way TheBochinche sees it , this beautiful town will get work building the port , they will get permanent jobs maintaining and cleaning the port AND best of all , thousands of tourists will come with tourism dollars ready to be spent at Restaurants , Island tours , or with one of the many talented Artisans .
The only people who will have a problem with this is the town of Puerto Plata which has been begging for YEARS to get a cruise ship Port , all to no avail maybe they will be next if the one in Maimon works out . Work on the Port in Maimon will begin in October and take about 2 years . The Port could potentially bring in about 30 million dollars in it's first year alone !!!!!!
Congrats to the town of Maimon , Dominican Republic , get your money mi gente !!!!!!!!
