BRASILIAN SOCCER LEGEND , SOCRATES ,
PASSES ON TO THAT PITCH IN THE SKY !!!!!!






     Captain of the National Soccer team , Intellectual , Alcoholic , Writer and Medical Doctor Sampaio de Souza Vieira de Oliveira better known to the Soccer world as Socrates , has passed on to that soccer field in the sky . This past Thursday the Legend was out eating at a restaurant when he was struck with food poisoning and after being rushed to Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paolo, everything was thought to be okay . Globo , a Brasilian News outlet , reports that even though , the Soccer Legend at first responded to the strong Antibiotics , his body just couldn't handle all that it was going through coupled with years of alcohol abuse . 

After his illustrious career ended in 1989 , the great Socrates practiced as a Doctor until his untimely death on Thursday ........ HE WILL BE MISSED
