WALTER MERCADO IN THE HOSPITAL
DUE TO LEGAL AND BUSINESS STRESS !!!!!!!

      TheBochinche is praying for Walter Mercado , the world renowned and VERY popular Television Show Host , since being admitted to a Hospital in Puerto Rico . The man who for most of our lives has been there to inform us that love is real , now could use some good thoughts from the rest of us . If you don't know , not only is El Señor Mercado closing in on 80 years old but he is also  battling in court  over the use of his name .  In 1996 , Walter Mercado Salinas sold his trademark , " Walter Mercado " and his likeness to Bart Enterprises for an undisclosed amount of money with the right to use his name and likeness ( photos or videos ) as they agreed in contract . WELL , something went WRONG , with Walter accusing the company of not paying him and they in turn accusing him of violating his contract . No matter who is right or wrong , TheBochinche thinks back to to the time when we were just pequeños Bochincheros and we would see Walter flowing in with a kind word for EVERYONE as we finished up our show on Radio WADO and he was coming in to begin his ............ That is the man that TheBochinche remembers ; the kind , decent and always there with a positive word , type of person that is the Walter Mercado we know and love and NO COMPANY can take that OR reproduce it ....................... There is truly ONLY ONE Walter Mercado !!!!
