"Back in the day" (the 80's, ouch!) there was this tv show called Fame. It told the story of young artists, mostly dancers, actors and choreographers who attended a special school for uniquely talented artists (kinda of a music version of Hogwarts). It featured some major hollywood talent like, Debbie Allen and um,...Irene Cara (google her)...and uh, did we say Debbie Allen? Well it was chock full of folks...trust...definitely worth checkin' out....fast forward to a remake of this classic, starring a new addition to The Bochinche.com must follow list...Walter Perez!
California born and bred (or Cali-tino, as we call 'em) Latino star Walter Perez has all the making of a "next big thing". He started acting and directing his own home movies as a child, which led to his being part of an inner city group called Colors United which targets talented urban kids and then he went on to star in a series of commercials, bit parts etc. all while attending college! (B.A. in Criminal Justice, thank you!). That's right, he's a triple Latino threat...LOOKS, BRAINS and TALENT and that's how we like 'em at the Bochinche.com.
