A QUICK WORD ON " WORK IT "
THE NEW ABC COMEDY !!!!!!!!!
The brand new series , " Work It " premiered on ABC the other night and promptly started some ish with Los Boricuas . Lee Standish ( Ben Koldyke ) and Angel Ortiz ( Amaury Nolasco ) are two men who were very good at their respective jobs until they were laid off . The two best friends then end up looking for any job they can find . What happens is that Lee discovers a Pharmaceutical position is open BUT they are looking for women . In short order , Lee gets dressed up as a woman and gets the job . His best Friend , Angel , finds out and wants in since the only job he can get is at some Wendy's ripoff . This is where the dumb ish hits the fan . Lee explains to Angel that the Pharmaceutical company is looking for women when Angel replies , " I'm PuertoRican , I would be great at selling Drugs ". The problem here , in the mind of TheBochinche , is that the writers of this show would use cheap , stupid and otherwise completely untrue stereotypes to get a laugh .......... REALLY ??????? No wonder the show has been roundly criticized and universally panned as the terrible rip off that it is . Anybody ever hear of " Bosom Buddies " ?????? That was the show that started Tom Hanks' career and in its time was one of the funniest and socially biting shows of its era . This is the show that these two non talented Writers , Andrew Reich aka Schmendrake and Ted Cohen known forever more as , Yutz , chose to deliver to ABC .
TheBochinche would like to say that what is really sad though , is that , Schmendrake and Yutz , you knew your ish was garbage and to try to get over , you went where you had NO right to go , how would you like TheBochinche to pitch AND premiere a show that uses derogatory Jewish jokes , you know , along the lines of being cheap or being greedy for money .......... PLEASE , do not get it twisted , TheBochinche loves all people equally and by the way , just to keep it one hundred , there are plenty of Jewish Latinos out there in the world doing wonderful and fantastic things , so let's not be angry with a whole people, just these two idiots ( Andrew Reich and Ted Cohen ),photos coming soon . To Amaury Nolasco , Papa , the only reason you get a pass is because you are known in the streets as someone who is for AND helps out the people whenever he can . It is a great and wonderful thing to be on a network tv show but don't ever lose your soul for a couple of measly sheckles . Next time you grab your huevos and tell mufu#%as , It ain't goin' down like that !!!!!! Think about it , if they hired you , it must be because of all the great work you have done throughout your career , you DON'T have to be ANYbody's bitch !!!!!
